Counselling and Behaviour Therapy
We are professionally trained in counselling and behaviour therapy as well as in a range of other
complementary therapies. Together, we have over sixteen years’ experience of working with hundreds
of children in primary and secondary schools and at our own Therapy Centre on the borders of Kent
and Sussex.
In addition to using a range of tried and tested counselling techniques, we have also designed
and created a large number of therapeutic tools which we use successfully in our work with children.
Many of these are now available to a much wider audience through this website. See Free Resources,
Success Stories and Q & As for more details. These pages also give an idea of
the wide range of therapies we use.
Face to face counselling for children and young people and Behaviour Therapy is available
at Marchants House Therapy Centre. Here we provide a relaxed, safe environment where children can
spend time with a professional who is widely experienced in listening to and talking with children
of all ages.
Often it is easier for a child to discuss problems with someone outside their family who
is not involved in the issues they are wrestling with. Of course, this is no reflection on the love
and care given to them at home. Receiving support at an early stage can prevent a smaller problem
turning into a major one.
