AstrologyAstrology has been with us for centuries, but today we regard modern astrology as an interpretative art. Professional Astrology has nothing in common with the "daily horoscopes" we see in the newspapers, which many people regard as just a bit of fun. An individual astrological chart is based on the place and moment of birth (where this is known). This shows the position of the planets, the signs they are in and their relationships with each other and is unique to that person. When an astrologer looks at the birth chart of a child, it is like looking at the picture on a packet of flower seeds; both show the highest that can be reached, given the right conditions for growth, nurturing and opportunity to flourish. We use this unique method of gaining an understanding of what motivates a child as part of our holistic approach. Integrating astrology into our therapy enables us to immediately identify his/her strengths and abilities and also to be aware of where there will be challenges to overcome and how to deal with these challenges effectively.
